I need comprehensive Legal advice on becoming an online retailer/wholesaler in the US being an overseas resident(Australian). 1. Do I need a reseller certificate/permit to purchase wholesale stock from the manufacturer or will my Australian Business Number be enough? 2. I will not have a factory or any commercial building in the US, I will be using a prep centre and directly shipping products to the Amazon Fulfilment Centre, does this exempt me from US Tax? 3. Do I need any permit/Licenses for reselling any products such as Vitamins, supplements & pharmaceuticals products? 4. Is there any other laws/permits/restrictions I need to be aware of when entering the retail/wholesale industry in the US being a foreign citizen.
