I have a ubuntu 16.04.4 Server installed. I also have git version 2.7.4 installed and configured. But it has not been used yet. My main motive to have git installed locally is to manage all my projects folders, versions, etc and my other documents on git. Projects can be pulled by different users on their own computers depending upon their access rights to modify or update the code and then push back the modifications. modifications will be committed by admin or project head only. I need to have all the data on my server -> Project Code, Software Patches, Setup Files, Other Documents, etc and the access should be secure. No one else should be able to access it or able to hack it. I need help in configuration and training for the same. You would need to document down all the commands that you would do to configure this system for future references and maintenance.
