Build a video editor for android using ffmpeg or any library that support a vast number of media formats. There should be features like listed below
1: You can merge/trim/split/reverse/rotate/blur clips or videos.
2: Zoom in or out in video, fast and slow video, add text in the videos
3: Add music, audio sound in the videos. video to gif converter, Add subtitles
4: There should be a video player that shows the real-time change in the video. You have to use glsurfaceview for the video player and decode the video using ffplayer. (I have built the player, if you need the code I can send you). As we are supporting a large number of videos formats, Video player should also support it and run the different video types smoothly.

We can add effects at any specific time or within a specific time frame.
