CoCo is a mobile phone application and teddy-bear duo concept. It works using Near Field Communication tags to assist children with learning difficulties with life skills development. The user can scan the various parts of the teddy and be directed to specific pages within the app that will contain a video or image bank (user chooses) of step-by-step instructions on how to perform tasks associated with that part of the body. For example, when the head of the teddy is scanned, the user is presented with a page of how to perform tasks such as brushing their hair and washing their face.
