small stand alone video player

Video Player. I want to use standard stuff. Maybe there is shareware or you already have something close. This is standard stuff with a little customization. Simple and standard is my #1 requirement. I have a directory full of video files (100-200 video files). They are actually Sony .MTS files, but they could be .mpeg just as well. It would be nice if the video player played any standard file. In a perfect world the files are on a 64GB microSD card that plugs into a laptop, PC, TV, etc. I want a small self contained video player executable that resides in the directory with the video files. The video player is HD and plays any files in the directory in their full and glorious resolution. There is a small cool play list that runs up one side and some simple control arrows to step forward, advance to next clip, backup, etc. My files are individual plays from a football game. I record the game; one play at a time. I want to hand the coach a memory stick with the video files and the video player executable so he can review the game. Double click on the executable and you are reviewing your videos. Maybe the executable loads on your laptop, then it can index and play the videos faster? I want to play high resolution video files and I want quick - simple - snappy - control. This cant be slow and clunky. Simple, fast, high resolution, portable, flexible. Are there still coders around here? I think this is Python, or C++, or JavaScript, Java, some other script, whatever. You tell me. Whos with me? Who wants to be on the Team?
