CleanURLs for Moodle

My client is looking to use clean URLs on their moodle site for the users (not site admins), possibly for every page type (course view, mod view, profile page etc.). So the path would still have the domain but with the name of the course name, mod name, etc. The customer also would like to know the technical changes involved or the approach. Will it require the involvement of moodle config file, htaccess file, changes to apache config. Even if any user (other than site admins) types the actual path ie. /course/[login to view URL], it should resolve to the corresponding clear url. As site admins if someone send them a clean url link, it should resolve back to the actual path. - Can this task be done in a day? - What are the risks involved (if any) - Rollback plan in the event of failure. Only someone who is experienced in Moodle should reply. Thanks
