Company management tool

This is a long term job. Below is the end goal we are after, not necessarily what we require today. We would like to find a company which can do the following over a period of time. At this stage we require the asset management database of which we have a specification. This job will require extensive communications between our project manager and the coding and development team. Good english is a requirement. We will require the successful bidder to sign an NDA on certain parts and will edit this request when this is necessary. Please do not provide a quote based on the below future scope, as they have been provided as a guide and are not complete. We are building a company management tool. The backbone of which is Joomla. We would like to add things like a custom asset management database, knowledge base for customers, accounting package, support helpdesk. All of these tools must integrate with Joomla and each other so they can pass information to each other. We require the whole site integrate with Joomla with a view to moving away from Joomla after 1.6 is released. We need someone who will do best practice and not require us to baby them the whole way. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Joomla. The site must be coded platform independent using up to date coding techniques and languages. Usability is the key so the ability to design user friendly pages is a must.
