Add DB connection code snippet with simple query to my C# project to check if a licence key is in the database.

I have a c# application that I need to have a very simple licence key check to my databse ( mysql) to authorise the application to [login to view URL] mysql database is built, i just need some code inserted to the c# application to check the key in the DB like this: When software is opened, it will show a simple licence form with text box to enter a [login to view URL] user enters key the code will send a query to my DB ( mysql) to check if said key exists on the DB. If key exists= open software else= show message box " key invalid, enter a valid key " This is simply a code snippet into the existing application and a simple form needed to coonect to my DB already built, so its a small project, no crazy bids please. I will supply DB credentials for connection.
