If you have root level access to your server then only its possible to setup tomcat on cpanel servers otherwise not as by default cpanel servers do not support tomcat it needs to be configured through backed only

I would install Tomcat 8 on cpanel. You must have Cloudlinux OS for it. As it is only providing support to Tomcat. I am an experience programmer and Linux system administrator.
