Files and directories monitoring at a server/PC

Write 2 Python scripts. The first script (Client Script) will be run at a client and the second script (Server Script) will be run at a server. The Client Script and Server Script communicate using HTTPS and JSON. Json Web Token (JWT) must be used for authenticating the Client Script and renew session.

The Client Script will monitor directories and send the list of new/updated files in the directories to the Server Script periodically. The list of directories to be monitored is stated in a configuration file. A local SQLite3 database should be created and used by the Client Script to keep track of the monitoring and sending. Multiple error checking, such as try and catch, must be considered as communications with the Server Script may fail. The Client Script should be OS independent and will be tested under Mac, Windows and Linux.

The Server Script will be called by Apache when the Client Script sends the file list. The Server Script will save the file list in its MySQL database and respond with confirmation message. The Server Script also needs to perform authentication and session maintenance. I will provide you a Ubuntu based Digital Ocean server for testing the Server Script later.
