Configure System Center Virtual Machine Manager

Hi Guys, This project is for an existing VPS Hosting Provider, but will involve setting up a new instance of System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager for use with our Hyper-V Host machines. In order for you to understand the task, I will give you some background on the business and network. The business does have an Active Directory domain, but not all of the VPS Host servers are on that domain at the moment, but the one you will set up in this task is. The business has 3 subnets of IP addresses for use in the available pools, and an internal private gigabit network for server to server communication. Not all of the IPs in the subnets are available - quite a few are assigned to existing servers already, so we will need to talk about that and how to set up the fabric to take that in to account. Each host server provides its own direct attached storage, and the network does NOT currently have a NAS or SAN. The SCVMM Server is set up with SCVMM installed, but not yet configured. There is 1 empty (new) Hyper-V host machine ready to be added to SCVMM, but it has not yet been added. Tasks to perform for this ticket: 1. Configure the base settings in SCVMM to work: Network and Storage Fabric, etc. 2. Add the available Hyper-V machine to SCVMM 3. Set up and configure basic templates and profiles needed for a single template (Windows 2012 R2). At the conclusion of this ticket, SCVMM should be able to create and manage VMs based on the newly created template on the connected Host machine. That is it.. should be pretty simple for a SCVMM expert. Additional projects will be created for advanced tasks, such as bringing our existing populated host machines online with SCVMM. If the tasks in this first ticket go well, we will offer those other projects to whomever completed this project. Now - to do away with automated bids, please make sure you specifically mention SCVMM in your proposal. If I do not see a reference to that, your bid will not be considered.
