I can set this up to work with SSL, please provide access to the server and provide information on the location of your certificates. Please also inform me if you have a webserver running that also uses SSL, that would be a problem because network ports can only be used once and setting SSL on the websocket will use port 443 which will not be usable for your web server just so that you are aware. Please also note that if you are using self-signed certificates that are not widely accepted by browsers, your websocket may fail and you may be required to access the websocket URL via browser to accept the warnings from the SSL certificate.
