Amateur Filmmaker required to make a COMMERCIAL VIDEO about dreadlocks. (Hereafter called 'The Dreadlock Video') If you are a filmmaker and interested in hair this is going to be the most fun commercial video you've ever made... THE TASK: Research, film & edit a video about "how to 'do' dreadlocks." This scope of the project includes preparation of the hair, the step-by-step process of dreadlocking your hair PLUS how to maintain dreadlocks - including washing, drying, waxing + re-dreadlocking regrowth and maintaining messy dreads. As the person responsible for delivering The Dreadlock Video project you will need a team of people to create this commercial video. You will need one camera person, one video editor, one dreadlock hair stylist and AT LEAST two "hair models" willing to have their hair dreadlocked infront of the camera plus at least two "hair models" who already have dreadlocks who are willing to have maintenance. IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SOURCE THESE PEOPLE and get them to participate and sign a film release form. As well as filming the process it is important that someone 'on screen' (in the shot) is explaining the process to the audience. This person MUST be a native English speaker or speak FLUENT English. The person explaining the process can either be the Hairdresser OR a 'presenter' in the shot narrating. You will definitely need previous film/video experience. If you personally don't have a background in film or access to a video-camera and computer with editing software, you'll need to have someone on your team that does. You may be asked to prove your capabilities by including a link to one of your existing videos online or by uploading a very short clip onto Youtube. PLEASE CHECK THE DELIVERABLES CRITERIA VERY CAREFULLY! I will accept higher bidders if they can produce a detailed background AND proposal for how they will undertake and complete the task. Good luck!
