Hootsuite Manager needed tout sweet Real Life Press is publishing its first book, Sindy in Real Life. It is also creating a community of readers and writers in the niche market of biography and true-life stories chronicling the extraordinary lives of ordinary people. For the first 15 months it is a sole trader, run by me, aged 75, imagine a stone age man transported to a big city centre. That’s me and social media. We’re going to plough back any profits for 15 months and then probably set up a not-for-profit company to serve the community we have established. We have two websites and recently acquired the services of a brilliant freelance guy to rescue me from Go Daddy and create something that works. We have a few social media sites without much on them. We are set up with MailChimp and WooCommerce and PayPal. There is a lot of promotional stuff in my head. I’m good at the ideas but bad on the technology. We have some design work and logos and can source more, Sindy is campaigning for RESPECT so we’ve even got t-shirts and mugs and stuff. We have a weekly newsletter ready to go but need to get signups fast. So we thought we’d bombard social media but avoid paid ads as much as possible at first, even the per click ones if we can. So, we’ve signed up to Hootsuite….and we need someone with lots of experience of getting the best out of it to manage it for us on an ongoing basis. Until sales start to come through the available money is very tight. We need someone as enthusiastic as our programmer who will set us up properly for a modest fee, take a modest monthly payment thereafter and be paid back for extra hours and days and get bonuses based on an agreed percentage of the net turnover.
