Restaurant Order and Information Package

RESTAURANT ORDER & INFORMATION PACKAGE REQUIREMENT: One PC located at every Guest table in a restaurant. One or two PCs located in the Kitchen One PC for the Manager / Administrator. Remote terminals for placing the order before the guest actually arrives. All the above are networked. Each guest table at a restaurant has a touch screen terminal to enable the guests to order the food by navigating thru multiple menus where selection by type of cuisine, number of people, serving type (small, large etc), serving options (hot, extra hot, extra topping etc) should be available. Each item on the menu will have a picture associated with it, details of the dish (how it is made, ingredients etc), calory details, preparation type etc. Guests should be able to navigate back and forth thru the menus to edit the order, place a fresh order. Cost of items ordered should be displayed. A Kitchen terminal should get the order details once the guest places an order. Updates from the Kitchen terminal (preparation time, non-availability etc) should reflect on the guest terminal which placed the order. Snapshot of Open orders to be displayed on screen and employees can select an open order to update information. Orders placed on a remote terminal should be assigned to a guest table once the guest arrives and is seated (based on an order number etc.) Manager's terminal should Allow password based log in; Be able to add menus, sub menus and name them as desired; Be able to add, delete, modify items under each menu/sub menu; Be able to assign or remove an image or any other attribute to an item; Change pricing of an item; Generate a bill/check/invoice at end of meal; Show a snapshot of open orders on the screen; Add guest terminals as desired. Max 50; Add kitchen terminals Max 3; Add remote terminals Max 5. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
