e-Store Finalization

This job is to finalize an e-store. Most of it has been set up and finished already but the programmer left and the project needs to be finished. A big piece of this requires good layout and design skills to tackle the poorly designed header and footer, but also requires a good mind for backend programming finishing up some cost calculations, populating an MSSQL database with finalized order information. The current code is written in ASP with some JavaScript tools incorporated. We're not picky about what the rest of the code is written in, our server is set up to handle ASP, and PHP currently. I believe .NET as well however if not these extensions can be installed. Main tasks: • Checkout, Login & FAQs graphics (if all aren’t being redesigned anyway) • New Layout completed and implemented on all pages • % increase for tensioned screen materials, currently only working on non tensioned (remove page by page calculations and put it in footer would probably be best for easy global changes) • Conform all pages to one standard layout • Automate sending of the order to our processing database • The only accepted address will be the billing address for shipping so remove the secondary fields and filter for people trying to send to PO/FPO/APO boxes since UPS does not deliver to these stations. • Integrate address verification system (turned on and tested thru [login to view URL]) • If x_response is failure then ask to try again highlighting the bad field(s)(currently invalid credit card transactions show as a successful order, however the error data is sent to the database already) • Search Function, preferably integrated into the header and footer, needs to have google/ebay style search functions. • A config file to store and globally change SQL usernames and passwords throughout the site ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
