Hello, I have a WebService that I need to get data from in ASP 3.0. I have decided that there is no easy way to do it, so instead, I need the following: ---------------------------------- I need a simple vb.NET app that connects to a webservice (with authentication), gets the XML that is returned, and displays the required data in a CSV format. It will connect and grab only one record at a time (if that makes it easier) and will only need very basic error checking. We will need to pass a few values to the aspx file that will then be sent on to the list service in order to determine the data we get back. ie: http://localhost/[login to view URL] The fields required do not need to be dynamic, but they will need to be easily configured so they can not be 100% hardcoded. It would be nice if we could set the order in which the CSV items will be displayed on the page, but that is not necessary. So, to summarize: - Connect to WebService - Retreive Data Record - Parse XML - Return desired values in CSV format To make this more difficult, I need it by mid day tomorrow ( 1pm Pacific Standard Time ). To make your life easier (possibly) I have sample code that will handle the basic connection to the web service. Please post your questions or comments below. Thank you, Illanti
