Asynchronous COM Notification (thread pooling?)

I have a **VC++ 6.0 ATL COM Server (ActiveX EXE)**. I need to send out _900,000 events per second_. My code does not need a return value. The events should be using asynchronous notification. First, is this possible using thread pooling? If this is possible, I need someone to walk me through adding an asynchronous event to my ATL project.
