Research and documentation - Mastroska (Haali) splitter 1.1.2

This is a simple research project. Older version of Matroska splitter (1.0.3) DirectShow filter expose all audio and subtitle options in seperate pins. For example, if the mkv file contains both English and Japanese audio, there will be two audio pins - one for the English and one for Japanese. However, with Haali Media Splitter, the multiple streams are no longer represented by pins. Instead, there will be only one audio pin and one subtitle pin. The filter has an option page to change language priorities. However, it has to be accessed with the filter's property page. When the filter is running, it also has an icon in the notify area of Windows task bar, showing the audio and subtitle stream information. I need to change the settings programatically in code. I want to get number of audio streams and number of subtitle streams, obtain each stream's language code, and set the selected stream. I assume the filter has some kind of interface to access those settings. The scope of this project is to find out the interface, and provide me a detailed report on how to use it. Of course, if you find a web page with all the information already, you don't even need to write the report. Not only I will need to get the functions, but also I need to know where to find the information for the future. That means, you need to provide a link to the documentation or source code of Haali Splitter which has the information. ## Deliverables 1) A report on how to obtain and use interface in Haalis Media Splitter 1.1.2 or later, on how to obtain number of audio and subtitle streams, their language code, and how to set the current audio and subtitle stream. ## Platform Windows
