Windows Media COM

I would like a COM object written that will allow me to cut out clips from a windows media file, as well as join those clips into a single windows media video file. The source code for the joining part is already available within the windows media SDK (called wmvappend). I also have working source code for an exe that will save clips out. That source code has poor error catching and could do a better job of creating a clip starting with a keyframe. The main reason I need the COM object is that I don't have access to a c++ programmer and our internal applications are written in C# using Visual Studio 2005. Details: Saving Clips - Input location - local file or http url Output location - local file starttime - in milliseconds endtime - in milliseconds If possible, clip should start from a keyframe. Current code backs up to a keyframe, but that makes the clip not accurrate timewise. Big plus if you can fix that issue. Joining Clips - ability to join multiple clips into single output file Sample App: for testing and documentation, please create a c# app that uses the com object to take two clips and then join them. I can provide sample windows media files. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
