Hi,
I have a PC that has SQL Server 2000 SP3a running Windows 2000 Server.
I decided to upgrade to Windows Server 2003 and have been experiencing problems with SQL Server.
When I try to open a table through Enterprise Manager by right-click --> open table --> return all rows, I get the following error:
sql server unknown error: 800700f
I also cannot connect to this server using classic ASP/ADO, althought ASP.NET/ADO.NET does not seem to have this problem. Nor can I use DTS to import/export.
I found a few articles explaining what happens but cannot find the resolution:

It might be worth noting that I can execute SQL statements in Query Analyzer. The only issue seems to be when I want to open the table directy in EM or want to connect using ASP/ADO.
I need someone to work with me in order to resolve this issue.
And please note that reinstalling SQL in NOT an option. This is due to the fact that I have SQL Server with SP2 and when I try to reinstall, Windows 2003 tells me that this version of SQL/SP combination is not supported and gives me even more problems.
Thanks,
Mark
