Hello Coders, This project consists of three components. The first part of the project will be to develop a sequence of three or four web pages. These three pages will form an online processing system for musicians to upload the music they have created and have it prepared for inclusion in my online music library. The first page would be a form that is filled out with all the information I would require about the music and would include a browse button so that the media track (Audio: wav, mp3 ??" Video: avi, mpg) could be located on their computer and uploaded into the system. The second page would be a payment screen that is integrated with Paypal. If the amount for the service is set to 0 (from an admin panel) then this page would be skipped if the payment is set to a number the transaction should be processed and their Paypal account should be charged. The final page should be a processing page that indicates the media file is being processed and provide a download link for the file once processing is completed. The processing would consist of two parts. The first part would alter the media file for use by our player and music library. The second part would be to take whatever steps where necessary to feed the prepared file into our music library. The second component is to develop web pages that I will need to provide the function of an online music library. Music will be placed into the library once it has been prepared by the first component of this bid request. Once the track is in the system a page should be available to search through the database of music and video and play a requested track. They should be able to search by artist, title, genre, theme, or any other search criteria that makes sense. They must be able to play the track right from the library, or they should be able to download the track to their own system and play it later. Client side: 1) artist info page - client enters song information, band information and selects flash component. Client also enteres email address and system can generate a password for this account. This password is generated but really is of no use at the current time. it just exists n the database. Client presses submit and goes to next page. 2) payment processing page - system checks admin section to see if a processing fee has been set for this service. If the fee is zero (0) then this page is skippped if the fee is >0 then the payment is processed by paypal. (An address has to be collected as the digital file will be sent on CD or diskette to the client by regular mail) aftyer payment is processed next page is displayed. 3) This page uploads the track, displays a progress indicator, and then converts the music to .meg format. Once the conversion is complete the .meg music file is placed in the music library. Once progress is 100% a thank you message will appear along with a notice that says processing is complete the track is no in the music library and may be found here: and gives a link. CLIENT SIDE MUSIC LIBRARY 1) Main library search page - contains google adsense code and the basic and advanced search functions for the music library. a basic search or an advanced search of the music library may be initiated here andthe resulsts are displayed in the next page. 2) Search results page. - Here is where the songs are listed and may be played using our online player. Eventually once the admin changes the status of the download flag the music willbe available for download as well as online viewing. ADMIN SIDE 1) login page - admin logs in here and then winds up at next page. 2) Admin main menu - contains links for admin functions. links are to next few pages. 3) library admin page - may admin all library functions, remove or add tracks, change text in fields for header info, change status of delete flag, etc. 4) Admin Setup page- all setup paramaters are stored here including deletion period (# of days), seed frequincies, formulas, etc. I hope this helpls you understand the nature of this bid request. I actually accepted a bid for the test excercise that I setup which I mentioned earlier in this post and I forgot to accept it for multiple bidders so the project closed itself to future bids. Not to worry, any one that has been working on quotes for me to do that project as well as this one may continue to do so.
