We are using Microsoft Windows XP and have a directory of images (.jpg and .gif) that need to be renamed. There are thousands of images, but all image filenames are listed inside an Excel spreadsheet in Column A -- and in Column B is the name that we want to rename that file to. Quite simply, the image directory may have these files: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] In the spreadsheet, this is Column A: COLUMN A HEADER: OLD FILENAME [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] COLUMN B HEADER: NEW FILENAME [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] So, the VB application just renames all of the files in the directory to the corresponding name in Column B.
