Job is a makeover of an existing website - [login to view URL] Website look and feel will be based off the Sahifa Responsive Wordpress Theme. I would like to use this theme if possible. HTML Geo-location technology will identify the user's location (similar to the Kijiji Website) Users will be provided with valid information based off their location. Vision of final product: Introduce a blog based website like (Sahifa). Authors will be able to log in to update posts in their assigned city. Users from (ex: New York) Will see the same layout as (ex:Boston) but the content & authors post from new york will populate content for the template in that page. The user can select to view another city outside their geo-location and the content will re-populate accordingly. We are currently running Jamroom as our main page. We would like to integrate our current user content into a wordpress plugin that mimics the current functionality of our website but in a separate tab. There would be minor revisions on how the plugin would work (regards to ranking and profile layout). The landing page once clicked would populate the band content of the selected (or geo-located city). Bands will be able to sign up for their profile from the main page. The layout will need to fall nicely into the Sahifa template. Flash players must be changed to HTML5. Plugin must be responsive. Basically we're playing off reverbnation but we're looking to create a website that caters to the public and helps people find the music they are looking for. I will also like to integrate facebook login where fans can comment into profiles. Social media integration is important for bands and the main site. Website will also include an updated events section with live member integration. Events will be created by fans and authors. Fans can plug-in to events as they happen. (They link in while in the geo-location radius) They can then upload pictures, video, comments, txt people within the live event. Events close upon the end of schedule. Top events live events will be gauged by # of plugins. When plugging in there should be a share feature to facebook as well. Bands can be linked to events as well for public to see who may be playing at an event. Mobile Apps will reflect the functionality of the website and feed data the same way. You will have the option of purchasing band music from your mobile app. Music will stream & download to your app similar to a podcast for the price the band has chosen. Band will receive % payment and business will collect %. App will also be monetized. I would like to feed application into a mobile app affiliate system to boost distribution. (suggestions are welcome). Monetization will be targeted by geo-location. Special feature: If a person comes within a specified radius of a location an add will be triggered.
