Instant Messaging Robot Demo

We are planning to develop a demo LCS robot (developing a Virtual buddy that can answer 3-5 simple questions, by going to a web service on the web, or take intelligence from a small database) Besides developing the demo buddy and deploying it in the Microsoft Active Directory, we need to produce a case study on how to develop bots on LCS so other developers can take your learning experience in how to develop these kinds of projects. Some ideas of things the Bot should be able to answer: * When is the next bus from Hilton Hotel to Food Market * Currency translation. 1 USD is 0.825 Euro etc * Weather report * Stock price * Maybe ??" availability in a restaurant, hotel, or airline * Some random answers to “questions?? * Other ideas you may have.. We can start small by implementing one or two features such as answering bus schedule and currency translation against a static data database. Once that's done, we can move to a support more interesting cases such as querying a web service, etc. Microsoft Office Communicator will be the IM client.
