Small Locksmith Database

Looking for a simple database program that will work with all windows.

Must be self running with out the need of a installation setup.

We have several books on locks, keys and combinations that we will enter the information in to a program and be accessed very easily.

We need to be able to keep track of locks,combinations,keys and photo's if they are available.

There can be many thousands of entries per type. Example, Yale locks in the K Series have over 10,000 possible combinations minimum.

Master has well over 100,000 possible combinations.

The adding/editing/deleting of information is preferred to be separate from the search screen.

The search window will prevent changes to be made by a user.

Would prefer a background to cover screen behind program. Or at least a good portion of it.

Then when the program is open have simple pull down selection. Each pull down selection can access it's own database. Must use automatically with the down arrow selection.

The adding edit delete utility will automatically add or use the database for the particular brand we are working on.

Type of key/lock: (Must allow selection)(List can be very long A-Z, Allow first letter to be entered to go to that area of the list)

Enter Series: (Can be several digits or characters)

Lock/key code number: (Can be as small as three digits and as large as 25 digits and possibly more as keys and locks get more specialized)

Then give the needed information, and if there is a photo available show that also. The photo's could be in jpg, giff, bmp formats. Some of the photos can be 1 1/2" wide x 3" tall in dimension for clarity.

If there is more than one enter for this key code they should be in a list box and then as selected display the information with out having to retype everything in.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
