Advice on Nopcommerce to Magento migration and site build

I need someone who can communicate to a non technical person (me) and give me advice on how to solve a problem on a new magento website which has been built for me and had data imported from NopCommerce, Its at present in such a way the site has been made by developer but it does not look how I envisaged it and i want to know if anythung can be done I want advice if the problem is solvable, how much time would be required to rectify it and the precise steps that woudl need to be done if possible . i need to n understand why the site looks bad at present and if there is anything that can be done to overcome this i dont need any work done at this stage but only advice by someone who genuinely understands NopCommerce and Magento to give me independent advice second opinion to the developer i only want advice at this stage so anticipate paying no more than $100 Please do not bid unless you know both NopCommerce and Magento very well
