Hi there, I require a program/application that scrapes data web pages from 2 websites and inputs it to a table format in the program. The pages data will be scraped from is determined by the user input of 3-4 letter codes. User interface for the program will be fairly simple with rows+colums and settings such as save, insert row/column and which data categories they would like displayed. Only 2 cells in each row will be editable - the 4 Letter code and a Notes Column. I have a concept design showing an example layout and identifying parts of the webpages I would like data scraped. I have attached an example of 1 page showing the user interface ( a very basic representation. A more detailed document can be made available to those looking to take on the project. If this program works as intended, I would be look to refine it further and have more work done on it to add features in the future for some on-going work. I will make the scraper with either scrapy framework(that would be incorporated in the website) or if the webpages are too ajax heavy then with headless multithreaded browser automation and i will be building the webapp with django which makes the webapp structure very robust and frontend with bootstrap.
