This is a web app that will allow users to search inside many books using specific keywords.
It is basically like this other app that is not ours [login to view URL] but with more interactive features and more user-data collection features:
* Our web app will have a books side and a notes side (where users can take notes)
* All books are uploaded by admin in the backend.
* In the notes side, users can type course notes or upload notes in editable pdf.
* Admin adds books in the web app and users can
- SEARCH through all the books
- TAKE SNAPSHOT (snapshot feature) of a selected area in the book and add it to their notes,
- Doodle and Write inside books (annotated sections are automatically bookmarked for the user),
- admin will collect data as to which sections of the book are more commented on, snapped/bookmarked, doodled etc.
App Features: Quickly find desired page in dozens of books. Advanced fast
fulltext search by words, phrases, expressions, as well as substitution and
fuzzy query:
- User can create a List of courses: displayed in two views: list view and grid view
-Support image, text, epub, pdf or videos format.
- User can upload typed course notes or type notes, and search through
them
- 2 Books can be read in a side by side view
- A book and its notes can be read side by side
- User can comment inside book
- Categories: books are grouped into categories
- Latest section: latest submitted courses
- Most Viewed section: most viewed courses
- History section: user can track their recent
viewed books and all books viewed in the past
- Bookmark section: user can bookmark his favorite books and favorite sections
inside a book
- If user has course notes for a book in the database, user can have side by
side view of both.
