Build an online voting system for school using PHP and MySQL

A Student need an online voting system that will accommodate general student body(SUG), Faculty and department.
How the voting will take place.
Step 1: Accreditation - here the voter visits the election portal, inputs his/her Voter's ID and the system will automatically generate a OTP (one time password) and send it to the phone number assigned to the Voter's ID which he/she will use to login choose a faculty and a department then submit. NB: the OTP must be verified by the system before use. The voter cannot edit his faculty and department once submitted.
Step 2: Voting Proper- At this point, the voter is in the Voter's dashboard. The election that must show up for voting are His faculty, department and SUG. He have to select any of those levels and vote for candidates of choice for various positions.
NOTE: ☑️ A Voter can only vote in his department and faculty. ☑️Every voter can vote at Student Union Government (SUG) level. You can still add any other feature you deemed fit.
