We recently had a coder from freelancer write a bespoke system based on a wordpress installation. This system is written in php and uses 5 custom tables in the wordpress database The system allows us to input transactions that relate to commodity prices and then displays these prices for users to see. Unfortunately we have found some errors in the code - and the original coder has disappeared and we need someone with php knowledge to correct the errors. The errors relate to an 'end of day' routine where values from a database table are stored in a separate 'summary' table for use in drawing graphs/charts at a later date. For some reason this 'end of day' routine does not create any transactions in this 'summary' table and my knowledge of php is not sufficient to work out why. The php page that deals with this is about 200 lines long (it is attached here). The exact problem is quite difficult to explain and I am currently writing a full explanation, but the solution should only take a few minutes for a skilled coder once they understand the problem. Please note that most of the code in the attached page works fine (the parts that update the cust_transactions table) , the error only relates the code around line 107 where new records are added to the transactionsummary table. (But as I say I will provide a full explanation later today)
