This sounds a great deal like a website project I completed for a client. In this case, we were taking product information pulled from various websites, and compiling it into something suitable for upload into an online shopping cart.
Since it sounds like this is something you'll need to do on a regular basis, I'd recommend building a basic interface. The interface will allow you to select an Excel file from your computer, and update the Newegg with the information it contains. Systems like this are generally set up so that a unique id represents a particular product.
General process:
- If your spreadsheet contains an existing ID, the system will automatically replace that product information based upon the data in the new spreadsheet.
- If the ID doesn't exist, we'll simply insert the new data.
- Lastly, we can include a column that indicates a product should be deleted.
About me:
I'm a full-time Senior Software Engineer for a security company based in Southern CA. I have expertise in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Angular, iOS, Android, and a variety of other systems. That being said, it isn't my development experience that will be the most help. It's my ability to help you streamline your process, making it something that saves you time and money.
Bonus: I'm new to Freelancer. In order to build up my reviews, I'm going to underbid, and over-deliver. I can turn this project around in a week, with the first milestone being hit within a few days.
