We have some client software that communicates basic post requests to our server and deals appropriately with responses. It was originally written purely for windows using .NET, where it continues to function fine. We have had a Mono version developed that is almost working. It simply needs some bug fixes and some interface tidying.
It is not particularly important at this stage to get it working on Windows as that is working fine on .NET, however Linux and Mac have various issues. Ideally the programmer will be try it on both, if this is not possible then just one platform (ideally Linux) will be acceptable.
The software needs to be carefully fixed, i.e. Proper knowledge and use of Subversion modification, checkout, modify, compile, test, merge, compile, test commit so as to not cause any problems with other developers and minimise any regression. Also the programmer will use time management software.
I will attach current mono build. Suitable candidates will of course be given access to the source code.
