To build an application framework, which enable to create and embed maps dynamically using Google maps.
We are a Facility Management company based in the UK and the objective of this project is to view on a map(s) the geographical distribution of the sites we service. The view of maps can be by Client, by Manager, by added Date, by Sector (Retail, Commercial, Education, etc)
Currently we use an Excel sheet to populate the data on Google Map and create the desired view, -(see attachment - Screenshots). We do this manually for every view: one upload to view all sites, another upload to view sites by managers, and so on.
Main factor to consider:
-We will provide a new SQL table extracted from our CRM system from where the new App will collect the data to populate the Google Maps.
-App will be host in our external web server
-Table will be update every night and so the maps
-Initial views are four but maybe we need to add 2 or 3 in the near future. (Like: main contracts, more expensive. better\bad performance)
-Users will need to have access rights. Some people will be able to see all maps, however may not want everyone to see map/information for 'Value of the contract' etc.
