How can I add an affiliate link to an HTML5 Banner without editing the code?

Right now I have an HTML5 banner located here: [login to view URL] The link to go to a specific url is hardcoded in the banner. The problem is that I want to use the banner for affiliates and allow them to link up their own affiliate code to the banner without having to edit the html of the banner. I was thinking an easy way to do this would be to put a clear transparent layer/image over the html5 banner, then link that clear image to their affiliate code. That way I don’t have to edit the HTML5 banner code and can easily change the url to point to where they want it to go. But I’m completely open to suggestions and solutions on how this can be accomplished. So basically I just need a simple way to allow people to use their own linking code with this banner: [login to view URL] without having to edit the html. Right now I’m able to do it using an iframe, but I do NOT want to use Iframes.
