Friends, I've 12+ years experience in IT being a developer/delivery manager. I'm looking to outsource the work to a "small highly motivated team" to design and build an Online Movie Ticket Booking Site(similar to [login to view URL]) so that I can focus on selling. I'm not expecting a wordpress woocommerce solution here. looking for the following features 1. Able to post a movie easily 2. One movie can run on many theatres( theatre is a variant). User can filter the theater list through a location filter 3. reserve seats 4. Seat map can be configurable uniquely to each template 5. Each seat can be priced uniquely 6. Ticket delivered via email with QR code 7. Ability to scan the ticket QR code and authorize entry 8. Customers can login into website using Facebook, google, LinkedIn, yahoo logins 9. Use coupon or discount vouchers 10. Reports 11. Role based login 12. SMS text notification 13. For now, Lets develop the site in English but have provisions to refactor the code later for localization 14. Payment gateway integration 15. SMS notification 16. Might require to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) 17. Should be built considering the future site traffic(10k users at a time but to start with 2k users at a time is fine) If you think your company have worked on similar websites in the past, please email me your past work samples, the project quote and delivery timelines along with the design details on how you intend to solve the theatre seating template issue. I would prefer to work on short releases. Little bit note about the theatre seating templates issue: - 1 movie can be telecased in N number of theatres - Each theatre have N number of auditoriums - Each auditorium has its own unique seating map - Each seat have its own unique seating price - How will you add new unique theater templates? (A simple solution would be to upload a CSV fie with X * X matrix with each cell being any of Available(A), Booked(NA), etc.. - Note, there is a reserve time when a user selects a seat for booking. if he exceed the reserve time, then the seat should be released back to the queue for others to book it. Reference shopify/wordpress plugins for feature understanding: 1. [login to view URL] 2. [login to view URL] (Good one but no seating facility due to technology limitations) 3. [login to view URL] (Not easy to configure) Future Scope: ( This is not in scope of this bidding. But I've more interesting thoughts in mind to work together in future:-) ) - Big data integration - Google SEO integration/optimization - Mobile apps I may also outsource the website management work with the same vendor who does this development work. I'm looking for a long-term mutually fruitful relationship here.
