mPDF pdf generation - troubleshooting and customization

We are using a wordpress plugin that utilizes the mpdf library ([login to view URL]) to generate PDFs from wordpress blogs. It has been working great although from time to time we have trouble generating PDFs from larger wordpress blogs. We currently have a blog that will not properly generate into a PDF. We can get it to work by producing half first then the other half but need to resolve this so we can generate a properly paginated Table of Contents. I've seen an error message stating we should use WriteHTML() with smaller string lengths. We need help implementing this so our PDFs will render without errors.
