Hi. I need using Google Tesseract (or any other free tool - APACHE TIKA) to extract data from a business card and output it into a mysql database. I need it to be a script written in php codeigniter if possible. The process : I upload a business card, OCR process recognize the data (company name, email, phone, contact person, address), export it in mysql. For android i already found an application - CamCard, but i need it to be web based. Till now, the software is done 60-70%, there are issues on reading the letters, extracting them and put them into the right columns. You can do your own software here. Attached you will find a file with the specifications. Please start the bid with 0123.
