Whatever tasks you outlined are good, but not all of them are needed, there are other efficient techniques that can be used to make the pages load faster. According to GooglePage Speed Insight I will complete followings as you listed: Enable compression - Yes. Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content - If you theme support this option I will do it. Leverage browser caching - I will add code for internal scripts, we do not have control for external scripts, Avoid landing page redirects - I will check and add permanent redirect method. Reduce server response time - Yes, I will reduce response time. Prioritize visible content - I will suggest to do it.
