We are looking for a passionate engineer to design, develop and install solutions. Engineer
responsibilities include gathering business requirements, defining system functionality and writing
code in various languages/scripts. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the development life cycle
(SDLC) and agile methodologies from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.
Ultimately, the role of the Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing
software/product that complies with standards and technical design.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
● 1 – 3 years of professional Software development experience
● Ability to write modular code in PHP, SQL, Javascript, HTML & CSS
Job Description
● Knowledge of the common PHP programming language
● Knowledge of MVC frameworks
● Knowledge of SQL and related databases, preference Postgre/Oracle
● Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
● Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
● Knowledge to integrate a various data sources and databases into a single system
● Well versed with web services integration & Testing methodologies
● Knowledge of User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers,
and environments
● Understanding of web application architecture
● A detailed understanding of database design and administration
● Knowledge of software version control tools such as GIT
Responsibilities
● Write modular and well-designed code
● Write produce detailed specifications
● Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
● Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong
optimization and functionality
● Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
● Follow industry best practices
● Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
● Develop back-end components and connect the application with other web services.
