PROGRAMADOR APP

MIGRANTS CARE MOBILE LEARNING APP is an application to run on smart phones/ tablets for androids or iüs systems. lt will be designed as OER, for access vía our website and/ or the major App stores. Contents provided will be related to customer care sujets in the care sector, in specific elder care for those cared for at home (by relatives and/ or by outpatient care services), in nursing homes or other similar services; incl. people with disabilities dueto age (e.g. Alzheimer, limited mobility, deaf or similar). The core user in mind has migration background (1st or 2nd generation), language skills in the national language (min. B1 level), basic prior knowledge/ skills necessary in care. The APP can be used in school training context, work-based learning oras self-guided learning tool (for min. 50 hrs learning time). MIGRANTS CARE MOBILE LEARNING APP will begin by the user passing a diagnostics self­ assessment defining and suggesting then the lessons to go to. Within the suggested lessons, learners will be able to take flexible learning paths (i.e. modular st ructure) . Learners then can select avatars to experience 'a day in care service' - learning will be done in micro-learning sessions (5-1O minutes) performing tasks (as challenges - which will be based on good practices from real case scenarios) in the environment of an elderly care home . Automatic feedback will be given after finishing a unit depending on the score the user has achieved. For each unit self-assessment will be available. lf the challenge was successfully achieved - once the self-assessment was done - , the user will receive a badge. lf the user does not achieve the threshold, recommendations on lessons to learn will be given. Contents will also be linked to other, existing OERs. The ultimate goal of the MIGRANTS CARE MOBILE LEARNING APP is each learner successfully gains for each unit a badge on customer service ski lls. The MOBILE LEARNING APP will be available in all partners' languages and English, as well as in the main migrants/ refugees' languages in Arabic and Turkish, Serbian as open resource. The APP will be based on defined Learning Outcomes - following ECVET methodology (KSC) - that will be generated from field research (i.e. interviews/ questionnaires of target groups and final beneficiaries as earlier described) and experienced experts in the matter.
