Python code needed for photo software

need a short python code to use for a software program called Smart Shooter 3 The problem is it is dark in the theater and the photographer can't type in 500 folder names. The folders need to be already made so they can be chosen quickly. We need someone to create a script for us that does the following: once we choose the 1st subfolder in the main folder (that is on the desktop) there is simply a next button (created by the script) that can be clicked on the screen which makes it go to the next sub folder (that is already created and in the main folder). There also needs to be a display on the screen to show which subfolder is chosen. Lastly there needs to be a dropdown box so the subfolder can be chosen that way also just in case the photographer needs to go back to skip forward to a different subfolder. The issue is we need to be able to change from the present folder to the next folder quickly like within 10 seconds. This is how the normal dance competition happens. The 1st dancer comes onstage and dances for approximately 1:30 mins. In that time the photographer takes 30 to 45 pictures which download into a main folder on the desktop called Photos and in that main folder are other folders named 1 through 300. These photos go into folder one. After that dancer finished the next dancer will come on stage within 10 to 15 secs to perform routine # 2. In that time the photographer needs to browse and select folder number 2 on the desktop in the main folder. This is very time consuming and takes many steps to complete and we would like to have a easier way to go on to the next folder in the main folder. Also sometimes they need to skip a number if the dancer isn't ready backstage to perform so they jump ahead and then go back to that number later. Is this possible to make a quicker and easier way maybe with a script on just a dropdown?
