There issue on the web logs which shows they are handled there seems to be a serious problem with site as it is taking an inordinate amount of time to process.
It's taking over half an hour just to pick up 1444 product records which should only take a minute

Hi there! That's a very weird and unfortunate issue. I confess I have no idea of what's going on; but I'm very very confident in my ability to investigate, diagnose, and solve it.
I'll do a pretty comprehensive investigation, which will include:
- understating the installed plugins and their possible effects;
- checking REST API performance in general;
- checking the database for signs of bloated data;
- isolating a database dump of such products and validating its size and related data;
- checking for malware or suspicious activity;
- checking for possible auto-throttling measures or potentialy harmful configurations by the hosting company's server;
- running a lot of testes;
- making a copy of the Wordpress installation to test it better in a local environment.
The steps to fix this may be between a plugin customization, needing to find an alternative to a plugin in use, a database cleanup, or anything in between.
I intend to perform this job within three days, during which we will talk a lot about what's going on and what can be done.
I have a lot of experience with Wordpress as a backend. I've worked as lead developer in a major media company for many years, converting its entire online presence to a network of Wordpress-backed sites. I'm very used to solving weird issues like this - I'm likely one of the most experience developers in this price range.
