TicketScout is a mobile first aggregation platform for leisure tickets (concerts, sport, theme parks etc.), owned by a large Dutch e-commerce company. Based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the platform is still in development (alpha). In order to make the platform ready for consumer interaction, TicketScout is looking for a freelance senior backend developer with extensive experience of enterprise search platforms (i.e. Solr or ElasticSearch) Profile: • Excellent Java developer (minimal 5 years of experience) • Extensive knowledge of either Solr or ElasticSearch and experience in optimally implementing this in a complex IT architecture • PHP knowledge a plus • Experience with connecting / implementing API integration’s • Experience of WSO2 platform a plus (or willingness to learn) • Problem solver: you’re used to setbacks along the way and love finding creative ways around them • User oriented developer: everything you make/code it with the end result for the customer in mind • Excellent command of English, Dutch is a plus • Willing to work at least 32 hours a week in Amsterdam • Experience in leisure industry a big plus Period: Starting beginning of March, for at least 7 weeks.
