Job Description
Web Developer and Designer
Services of a Senior Web Developer having skills in developing Websites and web portals are needed. This will be a 6 months contract initially with a potential to become a long-term role. Role will be based working from home initially.
1. Essential Responsibilities
a. designing and developing a web portal
b. able to take initiative and complete ownership
c. Function as “project owner” for new or existing projects, managing initial requirements, feature requests, and long-term support.
2. Required:
a. 3 - 5 years working experience of PHP, Ajax, modern PHP frameworks like Codeignitor / Laravel
b. 3 - 5 years working experience of MySQL/POST-grace and writing SQL queries
c. 3 - 5 years working experience of front-end technologies like HTML5, SASS, and JavaScript
3. Mandatory Experience designing
a. Web Applications
b. REST APIs , WADO-URI, WADO-RS, QIDO-RS and STOW-RS.
c. Basic Linux admin (ability to SSH, view logs, etc)
d. Understanding of local development environments and integration of varying components.
e. Strong understanding of build processes/automation
f. Experience with job queues and background PHP processes
4. Highly Desired:
a. Experience working with Google Adwords APIs and/or Facebook Marketing/Messenger APIs
b. Experience with React/Redux
c. Experience with Docker
d. Experience with NodeJS
Motivated and talented individuals with experience on working with Orthanc DICOM Server
5. Qualification
Master’s degree in computer science or a related degree or professional qualification
