At the product variant level, the admin can enable pre-order and set an availability date, as well as select a pre-order policy. At the module level, one or more pre-order policies can be defined, along with a pre-order button label and a balance payment email template. The customer will be able to select a pre-order product variation and add it to the cart, with the option to pay in full or make a deposit payment. The sale order will be automatically created, and an invoice will be generated for the downpayment product. If the order has not been paid in full, a second downpayment invoice will be emailed to the customer, and a new column (availability) will be added to the order lines. Once the pre-ordered products are back in stock, the customer will be asked to pay the balance (if necessary). Once the order has been paid in full, the goods will be shipped, the delivery order will be validated, and a final invoice will be created manually.
