Simple Modification of a Python 3 Script to Control a Button Attached to I2C Bus of Raspberry Pi

Hi,
I'm fairly tech saavy but haven't taken the time to learn Python (as easy as I'm told it is). I have a very simple home project I would like completed for my son.
We are starting out using a Raspberry Pi 3. Given his age and interests, all I would like is a Python 3 script that will light up a SparkFun Qwiic Button ([login to view URL]) connected to the Pi via a SparkFun Qwiic Shim ([login to view URL]) and play an MP3 or WAV file of my choice via either the 3.5mm audio port or bluetooth when the button is pressed. These Qwiics use the I2C bus.
An extension of this project would be to use the Pibrella board/hat ([login to view URL]) mounted on top of the shim to control the operation of the sound playback. There are red, yellow and green LEDs on this board and a large red button. I'd like the button to cause the LEDs to cycle (green -> yellow -> red) and be able to have different (or no) audio files play when the Qwicc button is activated.
I'd like "part 1" executed ASAP with the Pibrella "extension" being a later deliverable if necessary. I've attached the relevant Python scripts/libraries. Given the templates available (and attached) - this is a very easy project so I would hope to see bids towards the lower end of the scale provided.
