Experienced social researcher, 1-2 days per week for 2-3 months
£18-36 GBP / hod.
We need support from an experienced and well qualified social researcher for 1 - 2 days per week, over the next 2-3 months (negotiable). You MUST be based in the UK or EU and be native/fluent English speaking. You will have a Masters degree or higher in social science, social psychology, social research methods or similar. You will have a particular interest in gender and social policy and with proven experience of managing you own time as a researcher. The work will involve assisting with the set up of research projects, including research ethics applications, conducting interviews and other fieldwork, analysis of data and report writing. ideally, you will have a sound grasp and experience of quantitative methods as well as qualitative. You will also have a sound, working and up to date knowledge of UK Social Policy. This would suit someone who has worked in a professional social research (not market research) environment already for a minimum of one year. We are a highly respected social research institute with very interesting contracts with Government Departments, UN agencies and European governmental clients.
