MBA graduate with expertise in financial services, interned in Bombay stock exchange and learnt how the currency derivatives market work in comparison with over the counter derivatives. Joined Ocwen Financial Solutions as an Analyst wherein i was responsible to forecast cash flows for mortgage loans, research on defaulted loans and analyse it and offer modification plans with respect to government and company policies. Moved on to join BCD travel after 3 year, and here i learnt how to prepare a budget for our clients and provide a forecast and later explain variances if any, other parts of the job included auditing the P&L for these clients and providing financial insights. I took up a lot of other technical project while i was here and expertise advanced excel and Macros and helped setup a lot of processes automatically. After 2 years i moved on to RCI India which is a vacation exchange firm, here i was in charge of the internal financial planning, preparing yearly budgets, forecasting as per monthly needs, managing revenue and expenses in the P&L, assigning sales target to the marketing team, allocate budgets for their activities, variance analysis of actuals and forecast on monthly basis to keep a track of the financials of the company. to ensure a smooth flow helped prepare 5 year financial strategic plan. After a total of around 6 years of expertise i now think i am quite experienced and can provide the experience outside my job hence turning to freelancing.
