React developer needed to design modules to operate alongside large web app

We have a large web-based application, uses PHP: Yii 1 and Yii2 as back end; jQuery based for much of the front-end.

We are redeveloping a component of the User interface, and would like this to be built in React. We integrate with many external APIs. You would be responsible for the frontend, another developer would provide the API endpoints from the yii app.

Our priorities are:

- fast user experience even though the application needs to connect with a large number of external services including calendar services (Google, Outlook, etc)

- planning development of new components in a way that enables us to launch new components quickly as they're completed, instead of just re-building for many months without being able to launch customer-facing improvements.

- Developing scalable new components. Must be modular, designed to be changeable.

Must be able to communicate well during planning phase, self-directed to meet deadlines, committed to quality products.
